Reserve July 25th for an old-fashioned picnic
and baseball game as it would have been played in 1866. Historically-dressed players with
period equipment will re-play an historical 1866 conflict between Oregon City
(The Clackamas Nine) and Portland (The Portland Pioneers).
Pioneer style dress is encouraged, but not
required.
Bring-Your-Own
picnic or purchase a hot dog and enjoy the ice cream social after the game.
Entertainment between innings provided by The Third Brigade Band, a brass
band of the 1860’s period. Bring a lawn chair, and enjoy a summer afternoon at
the park with America’s Game.
Fun will begin around 11:00 AM at Chapin Park in Oregon
City, 340 Warner Parrott Road.
Game starts around 1:00 PM. |
